Detta

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 23, 2026 · Operated by Detta Systems, Inc.

This Privacy Policy explains how Detta collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Detta pre-launch waitlist website at detta.us (the "Site"). Detta does not yet offer a live product; at this stage we operate a waitlist only. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Use.

Plain-English summary. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address (and, only if you choose, your first name and a general description of your debt situation) so we can tell you when access opens. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that does not identify you. We do not sell or share your personal information, we never hold your money, we do not pull your credit, and we never ask for your full Social Security number or bank login.

1. Who we are

The Site is operated by Detta Systems, Inc. ("Detta", "we", "us", or "our"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@detta.us.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies only to information collected through the Site and the waitlist. It does not apply to any future Detta product or service, which will have its own privacy disclosures, or to third-party websites we link to. Detta is self-help software; it is not a debt-settlement, debt-relief, or credit-counseling service, and nothing here is legal or financial advice.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you submit through the form:

Information collected automatically. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service. It measures aggregate usage (such as page views, approximate country/region, referring site, and device type) without using cookies, without storing your IP address, and without tracking you across other websites or over time. It does not create a profile of you and does not collect personal information.

What we do NOT collect through this Site. We do not collect your full Social Security number, government-issued identification numbers, financial-account or bank-login credentials, payment-card numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or consumer credit-report data.

4. How we use information

We do not use your information for individualized financial or legal advice, for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. How we disclose information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as follows:

6. Cookies, tracking, and opt-out preference signals

The Site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our analytics provider is cookieless. Because we do not sell or share personal information or engage in targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. We nonetheless honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where applicable law requires.

7. How long we keep information

We retain waitlist information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist and contact you about launch, and thereafter only as required by law or for legitimate, documented business purposes, after which it is deleted or de-identified. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 9).

8. How we protect information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect the limited information we collect against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, and we limit access to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and verification, you may request to:

9.1 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA): identifiers (such as email address, first name, and a referral code); internet or other electronic network activity information in aggregate, non-identifying form (via cookieless analytics); and, only if you choose to provide it, commercial/financial information (a general debt category and a non-binding estimated amount). We collect these from you directly and from your interaction with the Site, and use and disclose them for the business purposes described above. We have not sold or shared personal information, and do not sell or share personal information, including the personal information of minors under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would trigger the right to limit. California residents have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale/sharing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

9.2 Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and other states

If you reside in a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Florida, Montana, and others as they take effect), you have the rights described above to the extent that law applies. You also have the right to appeal a refusal to act on your request; if we deny your appeal, we will inform you how to contact your state Attorney General.

9.3 How to exercise your rights

Submit a request by emailing support@detta.us. We will verify your request using the information associated with your waitlist submission and will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable as permitted). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may require verification of the agent's authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. Sensitive and financial information

A general debt category and an estimated amount, if you choose to provide them, may be considered financial or sensitive information under some laws. We collect these only to understand waitlist interest, we minimize what we collect, and we do not use them to make decisions about you or to provide individualized advice.

11. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@detta.us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

13. U.S. processing

Detta operates in the United States and processes information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed here.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above; material changes will be identified as required by applicable law. Where required by law, we will also notify waitlist members by email.
